Mohsin Salya was born in Preston, Lancashire. Having a go-getter attitude, he embarked on business ventures from a very young age. Moving to Dubai in the early 2000’s, Mohsin founded and went on to run a very successful property company

Not forgetting where he comes from, Mohsin Salya set out to realize his passion for charity by raising money for causes, which are close to his heart. In fact, he was one of the key founders of a Medical institute in Gujarat, bringing medical help to some of the poorest in the region. A charitable man, Mohsin also humbly donated a large amount of money to a children’s orphanage in India.

Becoming increasingly interested in marathon running and the world of fitness, Mohsin decided to combine this with his charity work. In 2012 he ran the 10K Standard Chartered Marathon, raising £50,000 for victims of natural disasters such as the Indonesian earthquake and the Pakistan Flooding. Two years later in 2014, Mohsin returned to the Standard Chartered Marathon, and this time took on the full marathon - raising money and awareness for ‘Operation Smile’ - an international children’s charity, which provides free surgery to repair cleft lips, cleft palates and other facial deformities in children around the globe. Mohsin continues to enjoy training for marathons and half marathons, whilst fundraising for major charities.
