Mohsin Salya Charitable Trust - MSCT

Mr. Usman Salya established the Salya Charitable Trust, which is registered under Bombay Charitable Act, in 2005.The trust is actively working to improve the lives of people of the area. They help in various ways, such as

There are approximately 76 villages in Simaliya, and the population is around 200,000. Many people are in need of proper medical treatment. Prior to the formation of the trust, the area did not have modern hospitals that could cater to them, resulting in people having to travel to cities such as Surat, Vadodara, Ahmedabad or Mumbai for major medical treatment.

This was not only a long distance to travel when ill, but also a very heavy financial burden to bear. Even when patients did get treated in charitable hospitals, the expense of travel, lodging, boarding and follow up visits became pretty exorbitant. Salya Charitable Trust pays for those who need medical attention to be treated at the Multi-Speciality Hospital based in Simaliya. In addition, any income generated by the hospital is used for further medical treatment for those who are in need. Medical camps are also organized in different villages by the Hospital with the help of the Trust.
